Segments
A segment is a named group of user identifiers. Define it once, reference it in flag rules across multiple flags.
Segments require the Pro plan or above.
Creating a segment
- Go to Segments in the sidebar
- Click New Segment
- Fill in key, name, description
- Select the project and environment scope
- Add user identifiers (one per line or paste a list)
- Click Create
Using a segment in a rule
When adding a rule to a flag, select Segment rule → choose your segment from the dropdown.

Managing members
Click on any segment to open its detail page. Add or remove user identifiers at any time. Changes take effect immediately on the next flag evaluation — no flag reconfiguration needed.
Scope
Segments are scoped to a project + environment. A segment in Platform / Production is only available to flags in that environment.
If you need the same user group across environments (e.g. internal testers in both Production and Staging), create a segment in each environment.
